Shipping and Return

1. Shipping

If you purchase an item currently in inventory (for example, a gift certificate or standard size skirt) we will ship within 72 hours.

If your item needs to be made (for example custom sizing robe with your initials, any custom design orders or out-of-stock standard size items), approximate production times are outlined below. Keep in mind, these estimates do not include shipping. For standard shipment, add approximately 3-7 business days for delivery within the contiguous U.S. Also, production times may vary, depending on our current order volume. Practice Dresses - 2-3 weeks

Men's Latin Shirts or Pants - 2 weeks

Men's Standard Pants or Vests - 2 weeks

Tail Suits - 4 weeks

Ladies' Latin Costumes or Ballroom Gowns - 4-6 weeks

Group Orders (3-10 items) - 4-6 weeks

Group Orders (10-16 items) 6-8 weeks

2. Shipping Costs

Shipping & handling charges are calculated in the following manner:

These rates apply only to orders shipped within the continental United States (US). Please contact us for quotes on international shipping charges +1-(713)-665-9433. Within the United States, we mail orders via United States Postal Service. Please allow 3-7 business days for delivery. FedEx, DHL or other courier shipping is available upon request for an additional fee.

3. Return Policy (for Internet/Phone orders only)

A Catalog Order item purchased from stock can be returned for refund or exchange if it meets the following requirements:

Item must be returned within 10 days of delivery date

Any problems with items shipped using expedited delivery methods must be reported within 48 hours from delivery time to be considered for return.

Item must be returned in the original condition and packaging with all tags attached

No part of the item should show damage, wear or use.


If the returned item follows the above criteria, International Dance Design will accept the return for exchange or refund. Refunds are issued to the customer only after the returned item has been received. Refund payments are made in the same fashion as the original payment (eg cash, check or credit card) less 20% restocking fee.

If returned items do not follow the above criteria, we reserves the right to refuse the item and deny a refund to the customer.

Shipping fees are non-refundable. The customer is responsible for return/exchange shipping cost. You can use whichever method of shipping you prefer (eg US Post First Class, Priority, FedEx, etc). However, we highly recommend insuring the package against loss or damage. International Dance Design does not accept responsibility for loss or damage to items after they have been delivered to the customer.

Custom Sizing, Special Orders and Custom Design Order items can not be returned for a refund or exchange. However, the item can be returned within 20 days of receipt for additional alterations, in the event of problems with fit, where deemed necessary. Purchaser agrees to pay costs of return shipment.

4. Shoes Return Policy

Shoes purchased from stock can be returned for refund or exchange if they meet the following requirements:

Item must be returned within 14 days of delivery date

Item must be returned in the original condition and packaging with all tags attached

No part of the item should show damage, wear or use. Soles must not be soiled.



If the returned shoes follow the above criteria, International Dance Design will accept the return for exchange or refund. Refunds are issued to the customer only after the returned item has been received. Refund payments are made in the same fashion as the original payment (eg cash, check or credit card) less 20% restocking fee.
